Makorokoto!

Almasi would like to congratulate two of our exceptional artists!

As a result of our recent collaboration with Ojai Playwrights Conference, Gideon Wabvuta will be traveling to their Conference to further develop his work in Ojai, California next month. We are thrilled that Mr Egan's time in Zimbabwe with local artists has resulted in this continued collaboration and opportunity for Gideon. He will be exposed to some of the most seasoned theater makers in the US who will invest in his voice and artistic skills.

Tafadzwa Bob Mutumbi who has been on a fellowship at the D'ell Arte International School in Blue Lake, California has been invited into their Master's program! We are thrilled for him as this is a manifestation of his talent, dedication and hard work. He has been an exemplary artist and we at Almasi are thrilled to continue to support him on his journey and artistic pursuits both in the US and in Zimbabwe.

These successes are the result of your continued support and investment in the African Artist, their voice and talent.

To both our artists we say MAKOROKOTO!*

*Congratulations in Shona
