CONTRIBUTE TO THE ARTIST’S FUND
One of the key issues isolated on the ground in Zimbabwe is the restraints artists experience as a result of simple living costs. The amount of time and commitment required to bring a dramatic project to fruition is high and often hindered by artists’ need for transport costs, food costs and other basic living requirement costs. Almasi seeks to alleviate some of these concerns through their ARTIST FUND which is a fund that will go directly to the artists involved in ALMASI projects. It will, aside from Artist fees, allow the artist to be fully committed the project at hand without general living cost concerns hindering their full participation. ALMASI currently provides transport costs, lunch and refreshments for their participating artists. We would like to be able to continue this service and even expand it to cover more as needed.
